Rokeya is a highly skilled technologist from Atlanta, GA. (USA) and now serves as a technology executive with a focus on engineering, product design and higher education strategy. Rokeya has worked as a technology leader for IBM, Disney and Verizon impacting millions of users with new product designs such as the Magic Band, mBrace, Drive Safe & Save just to name of few. Serving various markets across 11 geographies in the Americas. Currently, she provides direction for the Top Computer Science Academic institutions across North America for Microsoft such as University of British Columbia, MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Georgia Tech, etc. For the past 15 years Rokeya has dedicated her time and resources as a strategist, community champion and a change agent. Currently she serves as the co-founder for a global technical online community, Tech Worlds Half while advocating for equality among low opportunity, high potential inner-city youth.
