Darsana Thulasi is a Quality Engineer at MathWorks’s Test and Measurement Department. She is responsible for devising innovative testing solutions for MATLAB’s interactivity with low-cost hardware such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Webcams etc. She is one of MathWorks’ STEM ambassadors and has volunteered in local school events that encourage students to incorporate simple coding and fun toys like Vex robotics as part of their daily learning routine.
Darsana received her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (Dubai Campus). She is excited to be presenting at WITS Midwest, one of the features she’s worked on for the Hands-on workshop: Deep Learning and IoT using MATLAB Online.
