In her role at BP, Kim leads global programs and projects, managing a development team, coordinating efforts across regions and acting as the business manager for the GOA Chief Information Officer.
Prior to this role Kim stepped out of the Information Technology & Systems (IT&S) function for 4 years to develop her commercial skills and grow as a leader. During that time, she was part of the Strategic Change and Operational Excellence team at BP where she supported the business in the areas of process improvement, project management, operational risk mitigation and maintenance of a proper control environment. She was also part of the business management team where she was the communications advisor to the BP GOA Supply & trading CEO, business interface to the IT&S team, and worked on several front office policies and controls.
Before joining BP 12 years ago, Kim worked in the telecoms sector. She is an active member of Toastmasters and the Past Advising President for the BP Toastmasters Club currently working towards completing DTM.
Kim grew up in Chicago, and now lives in the western suburbs with her husband and three children.
