Estela is a Business Analysis Manager in Global Oil Integrated and Supply Trading responsible for managing Business Analyst capability and capacity across IT Trading Operations system projects in Chicago, London, and Singapore. Estela assumed this role in August 2015 and is based in Chicago IL. Prior to her current global role, she held roles in Oil Americas as Solution Architect for 3 years and a Frontoffice Lead Business Analyst for 5 years.
Estela has nearly 30 years of experience in the Trading industry. Prior to her career in BP, she worked over 10 years at Bank of America in the Interest Rates Derivatives Trading group as a Project Manager, a System Developer and a Business Analyst. She worked over 13 years at Bank of Montreal in the Global Capital Markets group as a Derivatives Financial Analyst and Operations Officer in Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Derivatives Trading.
Estela holds a BS in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago. She is married with 3 children, ages 21, 19 and 17 and loves to spend time with her family. Outside of work she is an active supporter in community service projects.
